This Georgian style designed by architect Thomas M. James, who designed the Shubert Theatre in Boston, built in 1911 as the private estate of P.J. Harney, a local shoe manufacturer in Lynn. The house retains many of the original fixtures as claw foot tubs, pedestal sinks, cabinets, light fixtures and hardwood floors throughout the house. Enjoy the beach, commute to Boston for history or drive north to Kittery or Freeport Maine to outlet shopping malls.
